Rory jeffers

The first artist I studied was Rory Jeffers. Rory Jeffers was a famous artist that would do his own style and use different things. A lot of the time Rory would use found materials and paint on them. On the materials he would often use acrylic paint. Jeffers would use maps, suitcases, and newspapers. Also he would often use acrylic paint to paint on the objects he chose. An interesting part of Rory Jeffers career was when he worked with Oliver Jeffers, Duke Riley, and Mac Premo on a sketchbook project. For thirty-six weeks they would randomly send the sketchbook to each other and would have two weeks to make an artwork in it, and continued to do that until the end of the thirty-six weeks. At the end of the thirty-six weeks they all met together and discussed their artworks. The sketchbook was amazing and came out very well. 

            When I would research Rory Jeffers not many things would come up. I feel like that he didn’t get noticed as much as he should have. I really enjoy his artworks and find them very intriguing. If people would have pay more attention to Rory Jeffers then I think everybody would realize how great his artwork really is.
